Giraffe Class (2 Years)
Teachers: Tracy Thorne and Terrah-Shea Waller
Hi, my name is Tracy Thorne. I am so thrilled to be teaching with Cohee in the Giraffe room this year! I have a Masters in Architecture, but have found through teaching Sunday School at Lakeridge UMC and substitute teaching for LittleRidge that I love working with little ones. It may seem like a big leap to go from architecture to teaching, but I have found, much like architecture, when working with children creativity is key!
My husband Clayton and I have two little girls. Our oldest has been at LittleRidge since she was two and we have all LOVED it! I feel so honored to be a part of this amazing school and group of teachers!
I look forward to loving on your kiddos and helping them grow and learn about Jesus!
Giraffe Class Information
The giraffe class is filled with learning, relationship building, and FUN! Our days start with play time as our friends arrive for class. We then move to circle time, which is when we learn about our shapes, colors, letters, Bible stories, scripture memory etc, through fun and creative group activities. Then our giraffes go to the playground for some fun and exercise! After that it’s back to the classroom for more story time and crafts. Then we head to music class, eat lunch, and lastly, lay down for nap time. Once nap time is over, it’s time to go home!
